Victor Galaz’s research focuses on financial systems, and their connection to large-scale environmental change with global non-linear climate repercussions. He is deputy director and associate professor at the Stockholm Resilience Centre

PhD. Sohini Roychowdhury, Founding team, Director AI/ML Curriculum at FourthBrain
Sohini believe in out-of-the-box solutions being applied to real world problems. As an Industrial-Academic AI expert, she has had the privilege of working on a wide range of problems ranging from automated pathology detection from medical images, epidemiological modeling, to autonomous driving, advanced driver assistance systems and data science applied to e-Commerce.
Peiman Momeni, Head of Sales, Peltarion
Currently, Peiman works as the head of Sales at Peltarion. Peltarion is a company that strives at making AI more accessible for every individual and orgnaisation as we are certain about the positive impact that AI can bring. Prior to joining Peltarion, Peiman spent 7 years at ABB in various positions.

About the AI Sustainability event series
This AI sustainability talk is the first out of a series of events focusing on creating awareness and knowledge sharing around how AI can be a sustainability enabler. The aim is to bridge between Nordic industry players and forefront technology providers in Silicon Valley to create awareness around how AI and Data can be a sustainability driver when collaborating across borders.
The event series is hosted by Silicon Vikings and Nordic Innovation House from Silicon Valley and AI Sweden, Automation Region and the strategic innovation program PiiA from Sweden.
