PiiA in Hanover
In 2019, Sweden is for the first time the partner country for the world’s largest industrial fair – Hannover Messe. PiiA is responsible for Innovation Lab; a meeting point and a collaboration between Swedish companies and organizations that build success on innovative collaboration methods.
“The responsibility for Innovation Lab is a mission from Business Sweden and Vinnova that we are very happy for. We look forward to many exciting meetings in Hannover and also to find new international collaborations,”says Malin Rosqvist, PiiA’s program strategist and responsible for this assignment.
Peter Wallin and Malin Rosqvist from PiiA’s program office are present during the fair days April 1-5. The program consists of many interesting meetings and workshops. Both Peter and Malin will present the PiiA program and Sweden’s industry and innovations on scenes in the Swedish pavilion and also in the automation pavilion where Automation Region has its own stand.
“PiiA is in Hanover to showcase the Swedish process industry. Sweden has an incredibly successful industry and what we see clearly in the PiiA program is that Swedish companies are very good at collaborating with tech companies to find innovative solutions to the industry’s challenges. The Hanover Fair is a good arena for spreading results from Swedish examples and for helping Swedish companies find more partners who can take our industry another step towards a more efficient, more attractive and more climate-smart production,” says program manager Peter Wallin.
