Eva Petursson takes the lead on challenges and opportunities related to this field by collaborating with academia, suppliers and customers.<\/p>\n

Isha Bhatt<\/strong>
\nChief Data Officer at Volvo Cars<\/em><\/p>\n

Isha Bhatt is a Chief Data Officer at Volvo Cars and heads up the Data and Analytics team. Her team\u2019s purpose is to empower the company to make better products, services & decisions effectively leveraging the power of data and analytics. She believes in an authentic leadership style and is passionate about building products that solve customer pain points.<\/p>\n

Bj\u00f6rn Jonsson<\/strong>
\nHub Manager Northern Europe Process Industries & Head of Industrial Automation Division in Sweden, ABB<\/em><\/p>\n

Bj\u00f6rn Jonsson has worked with industrial automation his entire career. He is currently responsible for the ABB Industrial Automation department in Sweden supporting customers with instruments, automation and optimization\u00a0of their industrial processes. Besides this, Bj\u00f6rn has several\u00a0board positions. He is on the board of SynerLeap, Svemin and Chairman at Automation Region.<\/p>\n

Vahan Tchakerian<\/strong>
\nSenior VP Global Sales, Cogniac<\/em><\/p>\n

Cognac AI is a Silicon Valley Scaleup utilising the latest in AI technology to build inspection workflows, Cognac offers enterprise class AI-based Deep Learning software automating visual inspection tasks to human level accuracy and beyond. Vahan Tchakerian serves as Cogniac\u2019s Senior Vice President of Global Sales. Prior to joining Cogniac early 2018, Vahan spent four years at Carl Zeiss where he served as Vice President of Global Sales and Vice President of Industry Sales.<\/p>\n

Dave Nakamura<\/strong>
\nHead of Information Technology, AstraZeneca San Francisco Bay Area<\/em><\/p>\n

San Francisco Bay Area Head of IT for AstraZeneca, overseeing R&D and Commercial Operations sites and sits on various internal digital and data consortiums. Currently interested in evolving Data and Innovation strategies and partnering with the AZ Technology Innovation Team in evaluation of potential technology partnerships.<\/p>\n

About Nordic IndTech<\/strong><\/p>\n

This Nordic IndTech Talk is the second out of a series of events within the Nordic Innovation House Silicon Valley stronghold Nordic IndTech organized by Automation Region and PiiA. The aim is to decrease the gap between Nordic world leading process industry and automation companies and tech frontiers from Silicon Valley creating a more sustainable next generation automation together. By combining need owners with automation and tech companies, our goal is to support the industry in the next step of digitalisation.<\/p>\n

There is currently a strong interest globally to learn how heavy industry from Sweden works with innovation. PiiA (the strategic innovation program Process industrial IT & Automation), Automation Region, and Vinnova therefore started a new focus area 2019 in Sweden called Indtech and have under 2020 decided to internationalize this area in collaboration with Nordic Innovation House and our fellow Nordic contries in Silicon Valley calling it Nordic Indtech with a series of acitivties planned under 2020 \u2013 2021 under the Nordic Indtech umbrella.<\/p>\n
